None of the different species will cross with each other, though you could attempt interspecific hybridization among them with hand-pollination if you wanted to get creative. The two varieties of N. alata will likely stay pure because Nicotianas — like tomatoes, another member of the Nightshade Family — are in-breeding (self-pollinating).  Only single-digit percentages of crossing are expected occur within a patch of the same species.
