This section contains mostly varieties of Nicotiana tabacum, aka Smoking Tobacco. Also included are a couple other species of Nicotiana that have historically been smoked. We have tried them ourselves so we can vouch for them. Even if you don’t smoke, these are all beautiful plants to grow, beloved of hummingbirds and bees, and sure to add color to your garden.

Also, as the economic situation in the U.S. continues to change, one should keep in mind that Tobacco has a longer history as a currency than the Dollar does. As the Dollar’s value falls, Tobacco’s value will likely rise.
