(Tagetes patula) Annual in the Aster Family, native to the Americas. This charming cultivar sports compounded florets of bright yellow ray flowers on small plants, 8-18” tall. Foliage pinnate. Used in companion-planting to keep away insect pests. As medicine, the flowers are anti-viral & anti-bacterial, and have been used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, as well as many other conditions. Tea of flowers is robust, caffeine-free beverage.

Planting suggestions: Average garden soil sufficient. Full sun. Sow in flats inside around the time of the Final Frost, or direct-seed once soil has warmed. Space 6”18” apart, or grow in pots. Dead-head to encourage continued blooming, or harvest flowers for medicine when fully open.

Contains at least 100 seeds.
