Description
(Solanum lycopersicum) Perennial in the Nightshade Family, native to Central America, grown as an annual outside the Tropics. Determinate bush habit. The classic good-ole Roma: pulpy and perfect for sauces, sun-drying, and ketchup. Much more dependable producer in mild climates than beefsteaks and other fatties.
Planting suggestions: Average garden soil, with appropriate tomato amendments. Full Sun. Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the Final Frost. Follow standard procedure for potting up, hardening off, etc. Set out with 24-36” spacing. Stake to keep fruit off ground. Harvest when fruit easily falls from the vine.
Contains at least 35 seeds. Packed for 2021.
